Experience our advanced Japanese Shoji Sliding Door Configurator, a professional tool designed to provide a detailed visualization and accurate price indication for custom-made Japanese woodwork. Think about Shoji doors, Fusuma doors, Koshi-do wooden lattice doors, and also traditional wood panels like Ranma. Based on your specified dimensions and the desired number of horizontal and vertical panels, the configurator provides a clear and structured cost estimate. You can select from four premium wood species, carefully chosen for durability and aesthetic refinement. The standard pricing is based on single-sided doors; for enhanced craftsmanship, you may opt for double-sided Kumiko latticework, featuring intricate joinery on both sides. Further customization options include: adjustable Koshi-ita height (solid wooden lower panel). Optional Hikite recessed handles, available in multiple styles. Flexible panel configurations to suit both traditional and contemporary Japanese interiors.
All doors are handcrafted and fully made to measure by our Daiku, ensuring precision, authenticity, and seamless integration into your interior. Our Shoji doors are available in a wide range of laminated Shoji patterns, combining traditional aesthetics with modern performance. Doors fitted with glass or polycarbonate panels can be finished on both sides with high-quality Shoji film, ensuring a consistent, non-reflective appearance that preserves the authentic Japanese ambiance. In addition to Shoji doors, we also specialize in the design and production of traditional Fusuma sliding doors, Koshi-do and bespoke cabinet doors, tailored to your requirements.
Shoji screens, whether finished with traditional washi paper or a more contemporary alternative, can be beautifully joined with subtle hinges to form elegant, flexible room dividers. This approach not only enhances spatial flow but also introduces a serene, authentic Japanese aesthetic into any interior.
This configurator is intended to provide a general cost estimate. For architects and design professionals, a scaled DXF CAD file can be requested to support technical planning and integration into architectural drawings. For a detailed quotation, bespoke designs, or project-specific requirements, we invite you to submit your contact details via the form below. Traditional floor rails (Shiki) and top rails (Kamoi) are included. On-site installation is not included in this price indication. Our sales team will respond within five working days with a comprehensive proposal tailored to your needs.
